Position:                     Site Safety Representative

Locations:                   Clarksville, TN Area
 

Description:                 Candidate will observe and inspect construction work site practices, tools and equipment to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local and customer Occupational & Health Regulations. Will be responsible to write project safety activity work plans along with other procedures. Candidate will conduct and lead group safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors. 
 

This position requires candidates to spend 80 to 90% of their time working on company project job sites, year around, to ensure good safety practices are being followed. Field work will require working outside, on elevated work platforms within construction and chemical processing work areas. Familiarity with and understanding of Personnel Protective Equipment is mandatory for job performance.
 

Education:                   High School or G.E.D. required. Great Lakes Safety Training Center class of 40 Hour Site Safety Rep. Training, or equivalent, a plus.  Additional knowledge in trades Pipe Welding, Pipe Fitting, HVAC/Sheet Metal is desirable.
 

Experience:                 Two years minimum in field construction safety experience required.
