Position:                      Project Manager (Mechanical Construction)

Location:                     Clarksville, TN Area

Description:                 The Project Manager’s function is to organize, coordinate and supervise projects for J. E. Johnson, Inc. by ensuring on-time completion, identifying variances, and taking corrective action so that each project meets or exceeds company margins. This position ensures the ordering and scheduling of material and subcontractors while maintaining an adequate workforce for on time completion.  The Manager works with Project Estimators, Project Engineers and Area Superintendents for project scope, design and construction details. Team work and communications are very important with this position. 

Education:                   This position requires a Bachelors Degree.  
 

Work Experience:       A minimum of 5-7 years experience is required; construction and/or project management experience in chemical industry is highly desirable.
 

Compensation:            The salary for this position will be based from candidate’s work experience.
 

Knowledge:                Besides degree requirements, computer skills a must with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of project accounting, project billing, change orders and purchase order systems is desirable.
